Members of Natural Resources and National Economy commission of Lower House praised AEITI activities and call for sharing all kind of mining problems with the commissions. AEITI national coordinator Mahmood Anwari briefed the MPs about AEITI activates. He talked about the problems in the mining sector especially lack of data, contract registry system, collecting of revenues from mining and extraction of mining in Afghanistan.
Mr. Anwari said that AEITI has reporting about the problems in extractive sector and working for transparency in the mining revenues.
Ramaza Jumazadah the head of Natural Resources of lower House said that they will have share these problems with the president and the high ranking officials of Ministry of Mines and Petroliam and will push the government officials for implementing of AEITI standards.
He said that Afghanistan need for transparent systems of mining cotracts and collecting of revenues.
